Asymmetric Bars

Uneven Bar Routines

Gymnastics uneven bars, also known as asymmetric bars or simply bars, are a piece of gymnastics equipment used by female gymnasts during artistic gymnastics competitions. It consists of two horizontal barres placed at different heights, with the lower barre being slightly higher than the Gymnast's waist and the upper barre being slightly lower than the Gymnast's chest.

Gymnasts must perform a variety of skills on the uneven bars, including swings, releases, catches, and pirouettes. The sport of gymnastics is constantly evolving, and new skills are being added to the uneven bars all the time.

The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) is the governing body for all things related to Gymnastics. They set the rules and regulations for all Gymnastics competitions, including the uneven bars.
